Configuring Approvals in Goals

  • On the left sidebar of your dashboard, click on the "Reviews" icon.

  • Click the "Create New Cycle" button located at the top right corner of the Reviews page.

  • On the "Conf" page, you can select which types of reviewers to include in the review cycle.
    To enable a reviewer type, click the toggle switch next to the desired option.

  • If you want to enable goals in the review cycle, then toggle the goals option.

  • In the "Goal Selection and Approval" section, selecting Enable Goal Selection by Reviewees means that reviewees will be able to select their goals and assign weightages to each one.

  • If you enable "Enable Goal Approval by Managers", managers will review and approve the goals selected by the reviewees prior to the start of the review.

  • You also have the option to "Enable Goal Selection and Approval by Managers", where managers will select and approve goals for their reviewees themselves.

  • Select the goal cycle from which you wish to import goals for this review cycle.

  • Choose a goal type. You can select either Goals only, Key Results only, or both Goals and Key Results.

  • Enable the "Goal Weightage" option so that reviewees can assign weightages to each goal or key result defined for a goal.

  • Goals created within the Reviews experience will be set as private by default; however, you can make them public by toggling the setting off.

  • You can select the forms in which you want to include the goal-based questions.

  • Once all configurations are complete, select "Save & Continue", add the required steps, and then create the review cycle.
