Manager Guide: Completing 1-on-1 Performance Check-Ins

Click here to watch the video! 1. Performance Check-In in 1-on-1 Meetings For the performance check-in, open the 1-on-1 with your direct reports. Scroll down and click on the "Track Performance" option present above the Private Notes section Performance Check-In in 1-on-1 Meetings 2. Rating Employee Performance in 1-on-1 Meetings After clicking on the Track Performance option, a performance window will open where you can rate your direct report since the last 1-on-1. You will see different options such as Unsatisfactory, Needs Improvement, Met Expectations, and Exceeds Expectations. Each option is represented by a dot along a line, and a larger pointer or marker is used to select the rating. Drag the pointer to the appropriate dot that corresponds to your chosen legend, or directly select any dot based on the legend Rating Employee Performance in 1-on-1 Meetings 3. Selecting Likes and Dislikes for Performance Skills While rating your direct report performance, you will see different skills such as Quality of Work, Work Ethic, and Soft Skills. Submitting Performance Feedback After providing all the feedback, click on Submit to save your responses Submitting Performance Feedback 6. Viewing Ratings and Performance Trends After submitting feedback, you can view the ratings you have given to your direct report. You can also review your direct report performance trend to track improvements or any decline in performance over time. Using this trend, you can share more informed feedback during future 1-on-1 meetings Viewing Ratings and Performance Trends 7. Viewing Employee Productivity Trends If you want to see what your direct report has submitted in their productivity trend, click on the Productivity Trend option. This data is submitted by your direct reports, and you will only be able to view it once they have submitted their productivity updates. This helps you review productivity-related performance data during your 1-on-1 meetings Viewing Employee Productivity Trends 8. View Individual Performance Trend Later, if you want to review your direct reports’ performance trends after submission, click the ‘Performance Trend’ option located above the Private Notes section View Individual Performance Trend

Selecting Your Productivity Rating in 1-on-1s Open the 1-on-1 meeting with your manager and look at the top-right corner of the screen, where you will find a section labeled “Your Name Check-in.” Under this section, you will see the prompt “Since your last check-in, my productivity was” along with five emojis, each representing a different level of productivity Selecting Your Productivity Rating in 1-on-1s 2. What Each Productivity Emoji Represents Here’s your text broken down into a clear, line-by-line format for your help document: Hover over each emoji to see which legend it represents. Each emoji represents the following: - Much less productive than normal - Somewhat less productive than normal - As productive as I normally am - Somewhat more productive than normal - Much more productive than normal What Each Productivity Emoji Represents 3. Providing a Reason for Your Productivity Rating After selecting an emoji for your productivity check-in, you will need to specify the reason for choosing that emoji. For example, if you select the emoji that says, “Much more productive than normal,” you must enter a reason explaining why you chose this rating for your productivity check-in Providing a Reason for Your Productivity Rating 4. Providing Feedback on Productivity Check-ins You will also see four topics to provide feedback on: Clarity, Skills, Focus, and Team Dynamics. You can select any topics by clicking on any topic, that you feel are relevant to your productivity check-in. Removing a Direct Report Reviewer from a Review Cycle

Click here to watch the video! 1. Accessing Reviews Section On your Peoplebox homepage, click the Reviews module in the left sidebar Accessing Reviews Section 2. Open the Relevant Review Cycle After clicking the Reviews module, you will see a list of all the review cycles that have been created. To remove a direct report reviewer, select the relevant review cycle and click the Open option Open the Relevant Review Cycle 3. Navigate to Reviewees Tab and Enter Reviewee Email In the Reviewees tab, search for the reviewee for whom you want to remove direct report reviewers by entering the reviewee’s email address in the search bar Navigate to Reviewees Tab and Enter Reviewee Email 4. Click on the Progress Bar Under Direct Report Review Column In the Direct Report Review column, you will see a progress bar indicating how many direct report reviewers are assigned for the reviewee (for example, in the screenshot it shows 6 reviewers). Click on the progress bar to proceed further Click on the Progress Bar Under Direct Report Review Column 5. Click on the Three Vertical Dots After clicking the progress bar under the Direct Report Review column, the Reviewee Overview screen will open. Under this screen, go to the Direct Reports section where the list of direct report reviewers is displayed Locate the direct report reviewer you want to remove. Next to the direct report reviewer’s name, you will see three vertical dots. Click on these three dots to access the option to remove the direct report reviewer from the review cycle and from the reviewee’s direct report list Click on the Three Vertical Dots 6. Click on the Remove Reviewer Option After clicking the three vertical dots, multiple options will be displayed. Click Remove Reviewer to initiate the removal process Click on the Remove Reviewer Option 7. Confirming Reviewer Removal After clicking the Remove Reviewer option, a warning message will be displayed. Please read the message carefully before proceeding. If you are sure about the removal, type "REMOVE" in the confirmation text box to verify the action Confirming Reviewer Removal 8. Finalize Reviewer Removal Click Remove to finalize the removal of the reviewer Finalize Reviewer Removal 9. Reviewer Removed Successfully After clicking Remove, a success message will be shown stating “Reviewer has been successfully removed” Reviewer Removed Successfully
