You can refer to the sample image for example values. These are provided for reference only, and you can customize the competencies, positions, descriptions, and weightages based on your organization's requirements.

4. Understanding the Matrix Sheet
Let us understand what each row in the Matrix sheet represents using a simple example:
-
In the sample sheet, you will see a Competency Theme such as Functional Skills. Under this theme, there are Competencies like Coding Skills.
-
Each competency is also supported by a Competency Description, which explains what the competency means in practical terms.
-
These competencies are then mapped to a specific Position, for example, Software Engineer. This indicates that all the listed competencies are expected for that role.
-
For each position, there is also a Position Description, which defines the role in detail and explains what is generally expected from someone in that position.
-
Finally, each competency is assigned a Weightage, which represents its importance for that specific position. For example, for a Software Engineer role, Coding Skills may have a higher weightage compared to other competencies, indicating it is a higher priority skill for that role.
