1. Overview of Modules in Peoplebox

In Peoplebox, there are a total of six modules: Goals, Biz Reviews, 1-on-1, Reviews, Growth Path, and Reports. Each module has its own features. You will find all six modules on the left side of the screen, each represented with a different icon

2. Peoplebox Homepage – My Tasks Section

At the top left, you will see the Peoplebox icon. Click on it to open the homepage. On the homepage, Under My Tasks you will find review cycle and survey related notifications

For example: If you need to write a review for someone or for yourself, or to give feedback in a survey, all such notifications will be displayed on the homepage

3. View Profile and Team Details on the Homepage

On your homepage, you can view your profile details, such as your job title, department, and team information

It will also display your manager’s name. If you have any direct reports, their details will be shown. If you do not have direct reports, then your peer details will be displayed instead

4. View Detailed Profile Information

If you would like to view more details about your profile, such as your email address or other profile related information, you can click on the View Profile option

5. Accessing the Basic Information Page

After clicking the View Profile option, a basic information page will be displayed. This page will show all your profile details under the Overview section

6. Access Account Settings

If you would like to change your account-related settings, click on the profile icon located at the bottom left side of the screen

9. Update Account Information

In the account settings, you can update your name under the Name field. If you would like to upload or change your profile picture, you can do so using the Upload option. To change the time zone of your account, update it under the Time Zone field

10. Save Personal Information Updates

After making any changes, please ensure you click on the Update Personal Info button to save the updates

11. Change Your Account Password

If you would like to change your account password, scroll down in account settings option page and you will find the “Change Password” option. Under this section, enter the new password you would like to set in New Password field, and in the Current Password field, enter your existing account password to confirm the change

After entering both your current password and the new password, click on the Change Password button to update your password

13. Manage Notification Settings

Click on Notifications if you would like to manage any settings related to notifications

14. Notification Settings and Default Visibility

After clicking on “Notifications”, you will see different notification categories. For example, when a check-in is completed for a goal, you will receive an email notification indicating that the check-in has been completed. Similarly, several other notification options are available. If you do not wish to receive notifications for a specific topic, you can turn off the toggle button next to the respective category to stop those emails

Please note that the account settings and notifications options under the profile section are visible to all employees using Peoplebox

15. Workspace Section Visibility

The Workspace section and all the options under it are only visible to admins and are not accessible to employees. Any changes made in this section are applied at a global level and will reflect in all user accounts across the organization

16. General Settings in Workspace

Under the Workspace section, click on the General Settings option to manage account-related settings. Any changes made in the general settings will be reflected across all user accounts, as these are global account settings

17. Updating Company Details in General Settings

After clicking on General Settings, you can update various company-level details. If you want to change the company name, update it in the Company Name field. If you would like to change the key leaders for the org chart, you can do so under the Key Leader section. You can also change the company time zone in the Company Time zone field. Additionally, if you wish to modify the color of the 360 PDF, you can update it under the Primary Color section

18. Updating Company and 360 Report Logos

If you would like to add your company logo to the Peoplebox platform or update the logo for the 360 PDF report, you can do so. Please refer to the help doc to learn more about this: Link!

19. Enable Nova AI Settings

Under Nova AI Settings in Peoplebox, the following options are available:

  • Enable Nova AI for 360 review PDFs

  • Allow employees to refine feedback during reviews

  • Generate AI-based goal suggestions

  • Use Nova AI for IDP pages

  • Use Nova AI for team pages

To enable Nova AI for any of these options, turn on the toggle button next to the respective category

20. Assign Custom Role Permissions

If you would like to grant an employee custom roles permissions to manage specific modules in the Peoplebox tool, you can do so by clicking on the Permissions option and then selecting the Custom Roles option to assign the required modules permissions to the employee

21. Integrating with Slack and Microsoft Teams

If you would like to integrate all employee accounts with Slack or Microsoft Teams in the Peoplebox, you can do so by clicking on the Integrations section under the Workspace section and then, click on Slack or Microsoft Teams in Peoplebox to complete the necessary integration setup

22. Enable Single Sign-On (SSO) and Automatic Account Creation

If you would like to enable the Single Sign-On (SSO) option for all user accounts in Peoplebox, you can do so by clicking on the Single Sign-On option under workspace and turn on the toggle button next to Enable SSO option. You will also then need to complete the SAML SSO configuration to activate SSO

Additionally, if you would like new user accounts to be created automatically when users log in via SAML SSO in Peoplebox, then enable the Automatically create Peoplebox accounts for new users who log in via SAML SSO option by turning on the toggle button next to it

23. Changing the Goal Planning Year

If you would like to change the goal planning year for all users at a company-wide level, under Products section and click on the Goals option. Then, click on the Settings option to make the required changes

Note: The modules such as Goals, 1-on-1s, Surveys, Growth Path, and Feedback are only visible to admins and are not visible to non-admin users

24. Changing the Goal Planning Year

After clicking on Settings option, the Goal Planning Year screen will be displayed. Here, you can select the month from which the goal planning year should start, and you can also view the cycle division. You can update the goal planning year as per your organization’s requirements. However, please note that any changes made here will be reflected across all user accounts in your company. Additionally, under the Goal Settings section, the following options are available:

  • Allow only admins to create departments while creating or editing a goal

  • Enable the feature to divide goals into milestones

  • Enable automatic goal status updates based on progress and time elapsed

Admins can choose to enable or disable these options based on their organization’s requirements

25. View Goal Activity Logs

If you would like to view the activity logs of goals, then click on the Goals option in the Product section. Then, navigate to the Activity Logs options, where you will be able to see all the goal changes related details

26. View 1:1 Activity Logs

If you would like to view 1-on-1 details of all employees in the Peoplebox, such as talking points and action items created by participants, you can access them under the 1-on-1 option in the Product section

Here, you can also download the data in CSV format, view the status of 1-on-1 meetings, and check details such as the count of action items, talking points created, and the performance ratings given. To view all these details, click on the “Activity Logs” option within the 1 on 1 section under Products

27. Configuring 1:1 Settings

If you would like to enable productivity tracking for direct reports in 1-on-1, change the visibility of shared notes, or allow marking 1-on-1 as complete, all these options can be customized in the Peoplebox

You can manage these settings under the Settings option within the 1-on-1 section under Products and configure whether each feature should be visible or not based on your requirements

28. Creating Custom Drivers for Surveys

The next option under Products section is Surveys. If you would like to create custom child drivers, you need to click on Surveys under Products

After clicking, you will see the Add Custom Driver button at the top right corner, where you can create custom drivers for surveys. You can also view the existing drivers on this screen

29. Managing Competencies in Growth Path

If you would like to create competencies for employees or review existing competencies, you can do so by navigating to the Growth Path option under Products section

30. Configuring Continuous Feedback Settings

If you would like to create continuous feedback templates or configure any settings related to continuous feedback, you can do so by clicking on the Feedback option under the Products section
