7. Select Modules for Permissions
Under Permissions, you will find multiple modules such as Goals, Reviews, Surveys, Reports, and Employee Management. Select the modules for which you want to give permissions for added member

9. Add Groups (To Limit Access)
Use Add Group only when you want to restrict access instead of granting full permissions. This option allows you to specify the exact departments or employees the custom role member should have access to

10. Manage Department Goals
This option allows you to give access only to department-level goals. The custom role member will be able to manage only the department goals for the departments you select. They can view, edit, delete, and check in on goals, but only within those selected departments

11. Manage Employee Goals
In Manage Employee Goals option. Apply filters to select employees whose goals the custom role member can manage

12. Filter Employees
You can filter employees by department, location, or manager to decide whose goals the custom role member should have access to:
By Department: Select the departments whose employees goals the custom role member should manage. They will have access to individual goals, company goals, and department goals of the employees in those selected departments
By Location: Choose a specific location to give access only to employees working at that location
By Manager: When you select a Manager, the custom role member will have access to all goals of that manager’s direct reports. They will be able to edit, delete, and check in on all goals in this step

13. Pick Specific Employees
This option allows you to select individual employees whose goals the custom role member can manage. Use the search function to find and assign specific employees, giving precise access without applying any filters by department, location, or manager

14. Save Role Configuration
Click Save to apply all changes made to the custom role

15. Edit Existing Group

16. Grant All Permissions In Reviews

This option lets you specify the exact departments or employees the custom role member should have access to. Grant All Permissions works the same way across all modules, including Surveys, Reviews, Reports, Employee Management, Goals, and Reviews.
Note: The Add Group option is available in all modules except Surveys and Manage Department under Employee Management

17. Administer Review Cycle
In the Reviews module, there is another permission called Administer Review Cycle. This allows admins to manage review cycles (launch phases, add reviewees/reviewers, create cycles), but does not grant access to view reviewee responses, ensuring privacy is maintained

18. Add Group
You can also use Add Group option if you want to restrict access. This allows you to give the custom role member access reviews only to specific departments, selected employees, or employees reporting to certain managers

19. Enable Impersonate Employees Permission
You can also give a custom role member the ability to impersonate employees for administrative purposes. Enable this by selecting the checkbox next to Impersonate Employees option. Additionally, you can use Add Groups if you want to restrict access

20. Manage Employees Permission
