-
On the left sidebar of your dashboard, click on the "Reviews" icon.
-
Open the "Review Cycle" you want to work on.
-
Navigate to Automation under Settings and set the default channel to send notifications for the review.
-
Automations send notifications automatically during reviews, so you don't need to send manual reminders. For example, here we’ve enabled the option to notify managers to write a review after the self-review is completed.
-
Now click the "Kick-off Review".
- Here we are selecting the "Write Reviews" option from the dropdown.
- You can launch phases through Slack or email.
- To launch a specific phase instantly, you can use the "Instant Launch" option. Alternatively, you can use the "Schedule for later" option.
- Select the reviewees for whom you want to launch the phase.
- Finally click "Launch".
- In this example, Arita has completed and submitted his self-review by clicking "Submit."
- Arita's manager, Mandy, has received an automated email after Arita completed his self-review. Mandy can now access the homepage by clicking the "Write Manager Review" option included in the email.
- You can verify this by navigating to Phases and selecting the specific phase for which the automated email was sent to the participant. Under the Notifications section, you will find the notification type associated with that phase.
