How to integrate Microsoft Teams (BETA)

We are super excited to launch the Microsoft Teams app. Currently this app is in beta, so it has some basic functionalities. We'll be adding more functionalities in the future.

Steps to Install Peoplebox MS Teams App

Pre-requisites

  1. You first have to be an admin in your Microsoft account to enable this.

  2. This works well with Microsoft office suite.

  3. IMPORTANT: You should have existing Peoplebox Account with the exact same email address login as your Microsoft Teams login

Steps

1.Go to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/policies/manage-apps (you should be able to access the page)

2.Click on the Upload new app button

3.Download the zip file below and upload it

  1. To make it available for everyone in the right-side panel, go to Setup Policies and then Global (Org-wide default)

5.Add “Peoplebox” to the installed apps section

6.Also add "Peoplebox" to the pinned apps (which is just below it)

7.Thats pretty much it! Wait for 10-15 minutes so that the app propagates to everyone in their MS Teams.

How to test if it is working

Create a fresh new Goal and assign that Goal to someone (other than you). They should get a notification like this:

What does MS Teams support now:

  1. 1-on-1 reminder notifications

  2. Goal check-in reminder notifications

  3. Goal owner assignment notification

  4. @ Tagging of another user in a goal comment
