1. Can we run multiple review cycles at the same time?

Yes, Peoplebox allows you to run multiple review cycles simultaneously.

This is useful when managing different review processes across teams, departments, or review types (e.g., quarterly reviews, probation reviews, or 360° reviews) within the same timeframe.

2. Can we duplicate a review cycle without carrying over old goals?

Yes, you can duplicate a review cycle without carrying over old goals. During duplication, only the goal cycle configuration and structure are copied, not the actual goals. You can also choose what to copy, such as the reviewee list and competencies.

3. Can we test a review cycle before launching it?

Yes, you can test the setup by launching the cycle for a dummy user or for yourself. Once the testing is complete and confirmed, you can remove the test user and proceed with the full launch.

4. How do I create different forms for different employee types such as front office and back office?

Use Custom Attributes to segment employees and assign different forms and questions to each group.

Note: Not applicable for 360-degree review cycles.

5. Can I add competencies to a review form?

Yes, competencies can be added as a section in the review form. You can use role-based competencies from the Growth Path or add them manually.

Note: If the cycle fails to launch due to missing competencies, ensure all employees have a growth path assigned or remove the competency section.

6. Can we edit the review cycle after it has been launched?

Yes, edits are possible after launch, but if responses are already submitted, certain changes may require backend support. It is generally recommended to finalize all settings before launch to avoid such dependencies and ensure a smooth review process.

7. Can we control the visibility of reviewer feedback separately?

Yes, you can control the visibility of reviewer feedback separately. You can use the visibility settings to configure how feedback is shown for different reviewers. The options available include identified, anonymous, or can’t access, and these can be set independently for both the platform view and the PDF view.

You can manage this by navigating to: Settings > Visibility.

8. Can we hide scores from employees?

Yes, you can hide scores and choose to display only the rating legend if needed.

9. Can we add employees to a review cycle after it has already started?

Yes, you can add employees using the Add Reviewee option. This feature also allows you to add multiple reviewees at once.

10. Can we remove an employee from an ongoing review cycle?

Yes, removing an employee will remove them as a reviewee from the cycle. However, any responses they have already submitted as a reviewer will still be retained and will not be deleted.

11. Can we change the manager of an employee after the review cycle has started?

Yes, you can update the manager even after the review cycle has started. This can be done under the Reviewees tab.

Please note that if automatic manager change is enabled in the review cycle, the manager will be updated automatically based on the latest employee data available in the database.

12. Can we bulk update reviewers or managers?

You can bulk update reviewers by editing the review cycle and navigating to the Reviewers step, where you can import a CSV in the required format.

However, managers cannot be bulk updated and need to be updated one by one. If needed, you can enable automatic manager updates, which will ensure that manager details are automatically updated based on the latest employee data.

13. Can we reopen a phase or a closed review cycle?

Yes, both a phase and a closed review cycle can be reopened by extending the end date of any phase. To do this, go to the Review Cycle, navigate to the Phases tab, and extend the end date of the relevant phase.

14. Can we resend review notifications to users?

Yes, you can resend notifications via email or Slack.

15. What is Calibration in Peoplebox and how does it work?

Calibration is an admin-controlled tool that allows HR or senior leaders to adjust manager-submitted ratings to fit a distribution curve. Admins can override individual ratings, and a full audit log tracks all changes. Only the final post-calibration score is visible to employees.

16. Can calibration be done at the goal level (individual goal scores)?

Currently, Peoplebox calibration works on the final overall performance score, not on individual goal-level scores. Goal-level calibration would require a custom solution or product feature request.

17. Can we export the review data?

Yes, you can export review data in multiple ways. To download review PDFs, go to Reviewees > Download to receive a zip file with all employee PDFs.

To download reports, go to Reports > Reviews and select the required report.

You can also check progress from Analytics to track submission and release status.

18. What reports are available to Admins?

Admins have access to reports such as Reviewee Participation, Reviewer Participation, Review Progress, Goal Progress, and OKR Compliance. Custom admins can also access the Reviews Dashboard within each cycle, and additional custom reports can be requested from your CSM.

19. Can employees download their own performance review as a PDF?

Employees can download their review PDF from View Results > Download PDF.

Note: PDFs only show data based on visibility settings.

20. Can we generate reports for specific departments or managers?

Yes, you can generate filtered reports by going to Reports > Select Report > Apply Filters, then choose department or manager and download the CSV.

21. Can we download all employee review PDFs in bulk?

Yes, you can download all review PDFs in bulk from Reviewees > Download, which will provide a zip file containing all individual review PDFs. The data will follow the configured visibility settings.

22. Why is some data missing in reports?

This is usually due to visibility settings. Please go to Settings > Visibility and check both Platform and PDF visibility. If a reviewer type is set to can’t access, their data will not appear in reports or PDFs.

23. Can admins make changes on behalf of users?

Yes, admins can use impersonation to make changes and submit reviews on behalf of users. To do this, go to Settings > Employees > Impersonate as user.

However, admins cannot participate in surveys.
