Guide to Viewing and Filtering Goals in the Goals Tab

1. Navigate to the Goals Module

Click on the Goals module from the left navigation panel to explore and manage all goals available to you

2. View Your Own Goals (My Goals)

Select My Goals to view only the goals where you are assigned as an Owner

3. Searching Within My Goals

If you want to search only your individual goals, first click on the My Goals section. Then, enter the goal title in the search bar to search specifically within your own goals. Please note that when you search under this section, only your individual goals will be displayed, as the search is limited to the My Goals view

4. View Company Goals

To see organization-wide goals, click on Company Goals. This view displays all goals created under the Company goal type, including those created by others, depending on the visibility settings applied

5. Searching Within Company Goals

If you want to search only Company Goals, first click on the Company Goals section. Then, enter the goal title in the search bar to search specifically within company goals. Please note that when you search under this section, only company goals will be displayed, as the search is limited to the Company Goals view

6. View Goals of a Specific Department

If you want to check the goals of a particular department, click on the plus icon next to the Department section

7. Search or Select a Department

Use the search bar to type the department name or choose from the dropdown list. Once selected, all goals associated with that department will appear

8. Searching Within Department Goals

If you want to search only Department Goals, first you need to select the department name under the Departments section. Then, enter the goal title in the search bar to search specifically within the goals of that department. Please note that when you search under this section, only the selected department’ goals will be displayed, as the search is limited to the Department Goals view

9. View Goals of a Specific Employee

To view the goals of an individual employee, click the plus icon beside the People section

10. Search or Select an Employee

Search for the employee by name or select from the dropdown. The goals assigned to that employee will then be displayed

11. Why Goals May Not Be Visible

If goals are created but not visible—either your own, department goals, or others—it is usually because no goal cycle is selected. You must select a cycle to view the corresponding goals

12. Select a Goal Cycle

Click the No Cycle Selected dropdown to choose a goal cycle. You can view goals under All Active Cycles, Upcoming Cycles, or Previous Cycles. Select the appropriate cycle to ensure the related goals appear

13. Filter Goals by Status

You can filter goals based on their current status. Click the Select Status dropdown, choose the desired status from the list, and the goals will update to show only those that match the selected status

To narrow down goals by their category, use the Goal Type filter

15. Use Additional Filters

You can refine your view further using additional filters such as Tags, Last Updated, Departments, Owners, and Check-in Status

16. Using Global Search

Global Search helps you quickly find goals across all cycles, departments, and individuals you have access to. Simply click the Search icon in the Goals module and enter a goal name or keyword to locate the goal without needing to know its exact location

17. Searching Goals You Have Access To

After clicking on the Search icon, a search bar will appear on the screen. Enter the goal title or the name of the goal you are looking for. If you have access to that goal, the search results will display the goal details

18. Apply Filters to Your Search Results

You can also apply filters to the goals you search for. Filters such as cycle, status, and goal type help you narrow down the results and quickly find the specific goals you need
