1. Navigating to Your Goals
Click on the Goals icon in your dashboard to go to your goals

2. Click Share Updates
Under My Goals, you will see the Share Updates option. Click on it to share your goal update

3. Apply Filters
After clicking on the Share Updates option, the Share Update screen will open where all your goals will be displayed. Here, you also apply the filters based on the goal cycle you want to view in the Share Update screen

4. Update Goal Progress and Add Check-in Comments
You can update the progress of your goals, change the goal status, and add comments related to the check-ins you perform from this screen

5. Select Mentioned User
You can mention employees in the comments by typing @ followed by their name. The mentioned employee will receive an email even if they are not the owner or creator of the goal. However, the goal must be public for the mention to trigger an email. Additionally, once mentioned in the comments, you must click on the Share Goal Update option at the top right for the employee to actually receive the email. For private goals and custom goals, mentioning someone in the comments will not send an email

6. Click Share Goals Update
After you update the progress or status of a goal, you need to click on Share Goal Update. You can share the update with any employee, with no restrictions, regardless of whether the goal is public, private, or custom

7. Select Recipient
After clicking on the Share Goal Update option, enter the name of the recipient with whom you want to share your goal update. After selecting the recipient, click Post Update to share your progress. The recipient will receive the goal update in their email

8. Viewing Shared Goal Updates Via Email
The email will look like this to the recipient. It is a read-only image showing the goal names along with the progress status and any comments

9. Email Notification for Mentions in Goal Comments
If someone has mentioned you in the comments section of a goal, the email will look like this
