To write action items for your direct reports, go to their 1-on-1 meeting and start writing under the 'Action Item' section.
Moreover, when you're writing 1-on-1 notes, you can turn any talking point or bullet point into action items by just clicking on the 'Action Item' button in the edit panel.
Alternatively, you can create new action items for yourself from your 1-on-1 homepage itself. Click on the ‘+’ icon at the bottom of the page to create a new action item. Press 'Enter' to add.
You can also assign action items to your direct report and set a reminder to follow up on your tasks.
